I’ve said on here before that every workplace nowadays needs some sort of health program and a financial literacy program. Somebody is finally doing it:
Automotive News – Austin Infiniti’s latest retention tool: Financial literacy
Notice now simple it is. No vendor, no massive program. Just an executive assistant teaching four classes. They’ve already had employees pay off debts.
And as she points out, “I know there’s the old ‘keep them in debt and they’ll never leave’ … but they can and they will leave, and they’re not going to do a good job while they’re there.”
Now to work on intellectual and moral growth with the Workplace Book Club.
