I just finished reading a recently published book: “Coaching Amplified!” by Mike Marshall. I had a chance to see the unpublished manuscript and have been excited to share this with the world.
(Yes, I know the author. No, he didn’t ask me to review it.)
Here’s my 30-second review:
If you manage people, you have a responsibility to help them develop.
If you are like most of us, you received very little training to do that.
This book, based on brain science, best practices and a lifetime of practical expertise, gives you that training. The author focuses on application.
He is also funny.
You will read it in a day and apply it over a lifetime. It’s a great introduction to what it’s like to be a coaching manager.
Two thumbs up. (And if you want more from the author, check out our podcast.)
